MAN IN A LoFT

An artist/producer/dj that specializes in the exploration of chill, electronica, house music & eclectic remixes of hip-hop, R&B and pop.

Born of Caribbean decent in the United States, Man in a Loft began his musical journey at the young age of 9 in New Jersey, as a fast learning first year pupil of an old and wise Ukrainian teacher. By the time he graduated elementary school, he penned his first song, a ballad that won first prize in a national Coors talent contest.

Persistence, knowledge of his craft and diligent networking led him to work with Grammy award winning and nominated artists, as well as a plethora of phenomenal independent artists, such as Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, Melky Sedeck, Gordon Chambers, Vikter Duplaix, Simone Hines, Chinua Hawk, Masia One and many others.

In early July of 2016, Man in a Loft released a full length soundtrack entitled, Letters to Kyoto. It consists of his entire score of the VSCO 23.5 original two part film entitled, Kyoto.  In late July he also released an intimate EP of laidback, sensual instrumentals simply entitled, Sensual Electronic Music. Recently, a selection from the EP has been getting heavy rotation on the infamous Los Angeles radio station, KCRW.
